Art Works offers a variety of art programmes for novices as well as the more experienced in a supportive and structured environment.

The emphasis in our teen programmes focuses on developing
technique and encouraging confidence with the medium
of choice.

We provide art instruction for children aged 3-4, 4-5 and
6-11, with special emphasis on the development of visual
awareness, imagination and comfort with materials.
Our instructors are all qualified teachers who receive enthusiastic
reviews from their students.
In addition to long-term courses, Art Works seeks to involve
the community through a range of art related activities,
lectures, exhibitions, open houses and workshops.
Art Works Art School is located in the Bloor West Village
area of Toronto, across from the Jane Subway. Near the school
are numerous cafes, restaurants, book stores and boutiques.
Parking can be found either on side streets, or in the municipal
Green “P” lots on streets running north off Bloor.

For Children who are enrolled in Kindergarten from September 7, 2005 and are interested in art making.
Through art activities, dramatic readings, music and references to artists through history, children’s imaginations are cultivated. Drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media will all be part of the curriculum. Exploration and proper handling of the materials will be emphasized, with children being encouraged and guided through the process and completion of a finished project.

Family Sundays at Art Works Art School offers the opportunity for families to make art together. With a variety of fun-filled activities for all ages, children and adults a like can enjoy an exciting and creative afternoon exploring different art activities with Bronwen Parker.
