PA Days

Join this creative and fun series of art programs with mixed projects all day to inspire both full or half day students. There is a unique theme each session with a focus on completing one-of-a-kind works that utilize new techniques in a variety of media in drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking.

Fee: $90.00 Full Day or $45 Half Day (includes materials and HST)

Morning (AM) Camps: 9:30 am to 12:00 noon
Afternoon (PM) Camps: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Full Day: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Please pack a nut free snack for half day camps. Full day students must bring a nut-free lunch and a snack for each class to possibly include after care.


October 11 – Magical City of Agrabah
Fly your way into the film Aladdin, creating a magic carpet, paint your very own magic lamp, and illustrate your version of the City of Agrabah and its castle!


November 15 – Faux Succulents
Learn to illustrate and paint the many shapes and figures that succulents have to offer! Build a colourful and textured 3D terrarium!


December 6 – Architecture and Design
Draw, model design the fastest race car and learn about the elements and principles of architecture and industrial design. Explore the structures of architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, Zaha Hadid, Kazuyo Sejima and Frank Gehry. Learn about natural and alternative materials that make our built environments a healthier space to live.


January 17 – Illustrations and Illusions
Design and draw a modern maze based on the work of M.C Escher, paint a surrealist landscape like Salvador Dali and an Optical illusion based on the work of pop artist Bridget Riley. Learn illustrative techniques in pencil, markers, watercolour washes, pen and ink.


February 14 – Felt Bookbinding
Personalize your school books, a diary or sketchbook with colourful and individualized designs. Learn about the versatile yet sturdy textile medium of felt as you explore and make eye-catching, functional projects.


June 5 – Drawing and Painting Techniques
Develop ideas through simple techniques and applications of various materials to create expressive and rich in colour landscapes, portraits and sculptures in pencil, pastel, paint, clay and printmaking.
