REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Please read the following if you are registering for a class or camp:

Procedure: Registration can be made by mail, in person at the school; by telephone, or online.
YOUR REGISTRATION IS VALID ONCE FULL PAYMENT IS MADE AND PROCESSED. We issue receipts via email. Payment can be made either by cash, cheque, debit, VISA, Master Card or American Express. Registrations are on a first-come first-served basis as soon as term schedules are available. We do not prorate camps. Adult classes are limited by the size of studio. Teens and children’s classes are limited to 18 students per class, with the exception of Kinder Kids which is limited to 12. Your payment of the registered art class will assure you of your place in the class. Classes may be postponed due to enrollment numbers, please call the school to confirm start date. We do not call students if a class is running, only in the event of postponing or cancelling a class.

Discounts: A 10% discount fee is given for the second child or teen’s course in the same family by a sibling or by the same child if registered in the same term. This discount is not applicable to adult classes, birthdays or to camps. Seniors (65 years or older) receive a 10% discount for classes they take, upon presentation of identification.

Class Cancellations: Students may cancel their registration without charge up to 14 calendar days prior to course start date with the exception of a 6% cancellation fee for credit card refunds which will immediately apply. Notice of cancellation must be given to the school’s office in writing. Absence from class does not constitute notice of cancellation. Students who wish to withdraw 13 calendar days or less prior to class will be charged a cancellation fee of $30.00. Students cancelling registration after the first class will be charged for that class plus the cancellation fee of $30.00. No refunds or credits will be given after the second class. Art Works Art School reserves the right to postpone classes, dependent upon numbers. Should the school need to cancel a course due to low enrollment, all students will be notified in advance, and full refunds issued.

Camp Cancellations: No refunds will be given once camp begins. A $30.00 cancellation fee will be charged to any cancellations 13 calendar days prior to camp commencement.

Student Absences: The school cannot be responsible for classes missed by students. However, in certain cases students who miss a class may obtain their instructor’s permission to attend a different class given by that same instructor on another day of the week. The substitution must be made in the same term as the missed class. This policy does not apply to camps.

Materials: Art Works Art School supplies materials for children, teen and some adult programs. Adults are responsible for supplying their own materials unless they are in a class where materials are supplied by the school. Materials and costs will be discussed at the beginning of the first class. We sell all supplies needed for classes at a reasonable price.

Behavioral Policy: At Art Works Art School our motto is “Behave Your Best and Dress Your Worst!”
