  • Experimental Drawing and Painting (Beginner-Intermediate)

Explore traditional and contemporary techniques using various materials, creating multi-layered masterpieces that burst with creativity. Sharpen your observation skills, unleash your imagination, and communicate through visual language. From traditional to experimental mediums, we'll help you build a diverse portfolio showcasing your captivating artwork.

  • Watercolour Painting (Beginner-Advanced)

    6:30 - 8:30 pm

    Instructor: Anita Fowl

Expand your watercolour/guache techniques in this step-by-step approach to colour theory and painting. Building from a series of exercises in colour mixing, brushwork, and learning about negative space painting, botanicals, flowers and portraits using a dry brush and wet-on-wet techniques. Subject matter will range from still-life to landscapes, to the student's own choice of imagery. Materials are not included, a supply list will be provided to students in advance.

  • Advanced Perspective Drawing
    6:30 - 8:30 pm
    Instructor: Dylon Feyen

Learn technical drawing skills from a trained architect! Begin the course with a review of simpler perspective techniques like one and two-point perspective, while learning how these methods manipulate or simplify our perception of the space around us. This program will help students develop skills for more challenging drawings using three-point, curvilinear, and axonometric perspective drawings. Lastly, we will explore the challenges of shadow perspectives and put the new skills to the test on your original art works.
